power for willie

Team: 2021-22 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 22, 2021
Published: Sep. 22, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Don't know if that's a fair trade with philly or not. It sure would balance the leafs and in my opinion look like a playoff type team. If it's not enough what would the leafs have to add?

Don't know why you say these players are playoff perfomers. Heck their teams have missed the playoffs more than made them.
Nylander and Kerfoot were the top 2 Leaf players in last year playoffs.
Actually I don't mind the trades that much, but the logic that that these players difference makers escapes me.
Leafs had "power" last playoff, Thornton and Foligno and others and where did it get the Leafs.

Thornton was not power, he was just old and suppose to bring experience and Foligno was hurt. I do like thes etrades above and believe it owuld make the Leafs better, but why would philly give up that. They are not rebuilding for draft picks

Thornton was useless after game 15 of the regular season, a piece of wood could have produced as much as he did and Foligno was hurt so his assessment is unfounded.
