I think St Louis is over paying. If you want Edmundson I'd say

Tarasenko for Edmundson and a 2nd or 3rd.

We’re talking about Montréal trading their 2nd best defenseman for an injury prone winger that they can’t afford. So while the value may not be great for St. Louis, this certainly isn’t anything the habs would be willing or able to do.
