Sanford and Tierney come off the books for 5.5mil, we already have like 9.5mil with a 23 man roster here, Forsberg is a career backup who we’re gonna let walk regardless, and also our buyouts drop giving an extra 1.8mil, plus the cap goes up a mil. That’s like 18mil to resign Paul (minimal raise, if any, could also let him walk given our depth although I would keep him around), Norris (Monahan deal seems like a decent comparable, 5-6mil raise), Brannstrom likely won’t break the bank (maybe a Zub deal if he breaks out, Valimaki’s deal is probably more likely), and Boeser likely only gets like maybe a 1-2mil raise (Nylander/Connor seem like reasonable comparables, somewhere around 7mil AAV). So we have enough cap space to resign everybody, and then also trade for Eichel with no salary going the other way. The Sens are the team LEAST in need of worrying about the cap lmao
