Pretty curious on the Pageau one-Career high pace was 51 pts/82 games...Same deal with Wahlstrom-I think he's got a bright future, but jumping from a 39 pt pace last year to 62 is agressive. I'm sure it could happen either way, those are just the two that stand out as pretty bullish predictions though.

Last year the Islanders were on pace for 222 goals for a 82 games season. With the presented stats, they would have 315 goals this season. I just don't see that happening.

2 wahlstrom will end at some point this season
3 we have a more offensive team this year

Yes and with Lee sidelined, other players got his ice time and compensated partly for his goal production.
The lightning have Kucherov this year, doesn't mean their goal total will be 50 more, need to subtract the replacement.

And Even with a more offensive team, you still have a defensive/system minded (Great) coach.

Only way Wahly touches those numbers is if he plays with Barzal. Pageau probably lands around 45-50 pts.

315 goals/82 games is 3.84 gpg. That would have been #1 by .34 goals per game last year, which is 9% higher than the #1 Avalanche had. That's a pretty bold prediction. The only team that has been at that number in the past 5 years was the 18/19 Bolts. 3.5 seems to be the high water mark.

True but lees replacement was leo komarov. He accounts for zero offensively. It really is just adding lee onto the total. That being said i do think the predictions are extremely optimistic to say the least.
