Honestly, if Eichel was 100% healthy and ready to play... this wouldn't piss me off at all.

Even if it was just a guarantee that he'd be 100% healthy and ready to go NEXT SEASON... yes, Ottawa would suck this year, but they'd have Eichel AND their 2022 1st * rounder joining the team for the 22-23 season. That'd be amazing!

Seems like Sabres fans should be the ones pissed off. Brady Tkachuk doesn't have that kind of value. Eichel when healthy is a top 5 center in the league, a signed 24 year old to a long term that buys a couple UFA years. Brady isnt even the best Tkachuk in the league.

What has Jack done while healthy that warrants calling him a top 5 centre? Zero hardware to his name. Hasn’t put the team on his back and even made the end of any season interesting. The only thing that he’s done that’s comparable to the other high end centres is sign a massive contract. Idk why people put soo much stock into him.

He's put up more than a point per game, been on pace for 40+ goals and doing it with terrible linemates. Not many centers doing that.
