Maybe...only a few weeks into season. So early to tell.
But he is lighting up the league.

KHL is really weak this year. Remember Maillet? He has 17p in 11gp in the KHL. Take stats with a grain of salt from the KHL. Jaskin was their best player 2 years in a row

Wheeler’s cap hit goes off the books right at that time Sticking Out Tongue

I’m really excited, started keeping tabs ever since Chevy drafted him and so far he looks extremely good while driving his own line on both ends of the ice, playing 13-14 min a nite

And he said he’s willing to come to Winnipeg after this year in the KHL

Plays with Shipachyov, who is probably driving the line.
But he is lighting it up and seems to have highlight goal nightly.

    I wish…

But no Shipachov’s average ice time is 7 minutes more and comparing ice time with their players (at least 6 forwards with more ice time every game) Rashevsky’s most likely on the 3rd line

Shipachov had 2 secondary assists on his last 2 goals tho.. so hopefully he gets the bump up

He has been playing with both 1st line (Shipachyov/Galiyev) and 2nd line (O'Dell/Klinkhammer or Lindberg).
Here is his scoring log this season

    9/3: Shipachyov (Rashevsky, Galiyev) (even)
    9/5: Rashevsky (Petunin, Klinkhammer) (PP)

    9/8: Zaitsev (Fisenko, Rashevsky) (even)
    9/12: Chebykin (Rashevsky, Pedan) (PP)
    9/12: Chebykin (Rashevsky, Pedan) (PP)
    9/14: Rashevsky (Klinkhammer, Boikov) (even)
    9/14: Rashevsky (Shipachyov) (PP)
    9/21: Rashevsky (unassisted) (even)

Since he was first eligible in the 2019 draft (just looked it up), he had to wait 19 rounds before his name was called. Geez.

I said "twice", I meant two whole drafts!
    19 rounds is wild.

5 out of 13.. so pretty safe to say

Hmm.. weird wonder why he only gets 3rd line minutes then when he’s playing in the top 6

Maybe KHL has a different way of deploying players?

Either way it’s good I though he was buried in the depth chart by a couple of mainstays on the roster and Russia isn’t well known as to actively help a prospect on his development path when they think he’s going overseas

So when he’s playing with the bigwigs already it should only be a matter of time for more ice time

Lol but it’s only been 10 games I’m probably jumping the gun.. so far it’s impressive but still very early
