The only way this offer could possibly be valid is if Eichel's injury situation was really sketchy to the point of it being 50/50 if he ever played again

Otherwise it'd be a historically lopsided trade

😑

No for who

?

Kassian is huge native value

Koskinen negative value

The 1st and half of Benson's value offsets them

Broberg and 1/2 of Benson is 1/2 of Jack's value

At very best

Rethinking this ^ is ideal

haha really? Buffalo.

Only piece of any real value here is Broberg, and he hasn't stepped on NHL ice. You know who Jack Eichel is, right?

Honestly Oilers no. It would turn us into the Leafs with 30 million in 3 forwards. And I don't have any trust in Eichel's health.

Plus, the sabres need top 6 forward prospects here, they have absolutely no need for a left shot d, and as youve pointed out, thats the only piece here with any real value.

I wouldn’t give up kass straight up for eichel. He’s broken and over paid by a wider margin than kass has an attitude issue I wouldn’t ever consider letting step one foot inside dressing room. Zero want or need for eichel.

Honestly I think trading Kassian in any scenario is a bad move for this team. He's overpayed, but did score 15 goals only 1 year ago. It's obvious that his teamates like him, and last year against the Jets (he was one of the 6 forwards Tippett used in the game 4 OT and seemed to be his old self after game 1) and in 2017 against the Sharks and Ducks he showed he can be a monster in the playoffs.

I think a lot gets put into last year concerning both kass and kosk but both have VERY understandable reasons for down year. Kosk had a crazy workload to start then found himself on the bench for long stretches hard to get in the groove. Kass had a hand injury considering the way he plays that’s a big deal. I wouldn’t move either of them very likely to bounce back and provide exactly what this team needs.
