Not for that. They are contending. We have no one to replace Hanifin with. We would want an upgrade if we are Trading Hanifin

Yeah we really don’t have the cap room for Gaudreau, and I don’t want to trade one of best forward prospects and high picks for a 1 year rental.

I think everyone declines that except maybe the Islanders if they don’t give up a first round pick as part of the deal.

For the Stars way too much to give up for a rental that would only crunch the cap more if extended.
