With all these injuries we have to resort to having Stamkos serve as our 1C :-D

3 years for someone without any experience... Clown organization

It's not a bad deal, it's a low-cost entry level contract, and he's been having a solid season for Kitchener. Besides, JBB has a pretty good track record here.

STAMMER!! Wow, wild start. Lightning have scored more goals in the first 13 minutes of this one than they did the entire last game in Toronto.
Rangsey liked this.

Leafs are dominating in shots and possession. Lightning need to spend more time in the offensive zone.

Power went out end of the first. Did I miss anything exciting?

Weird game again. Leafs dominated in possession, shots, and faceoffs, and yet the Lightning took advantage of the opportunities handed to them (good forechecking), along with Vasi coming up huge even on what for him was an off-night. Stammer had a heck of a game, he was the best skater on the ice. Next up, road trip concludes in Ottawa.

Stammer having a terrific game, Raddysh with ANOTHER perfectly-placed goal, and Vasi standing up tall when he had to (wasn't his best game, but he denied the Leafs when it mattered). Defense gave up a lot of chances though, need to work on spending more time in the offensive zone (though of course, they had no Kuch, Point or Cirelli, not to mention Cernak).

Just caught the highlights. Horse couldn't have put that puck more top corner. Holy fork!

Stamkos has taken sole possession of 4th in the league in scoring without two of our best forwards on the team. Couldn't imagine the totals if he had Kuch on the power play with him.

@Rangsey

You are who's been asking for Stamkos to be moved from Killorn and Cirelli, right? Palat-Stamkos-Raddysh looked phenomenal tonight.

When healthy one might fancy:
Cirelli - Point - Kucherov
Palat - Stamkos - Raddysh
Killorn - Colton - Joseph
Maroon - Bellemare - Perry

They were indeed terrific, but I would still rather go back to the old formula of:
Palat - Point - Kucherov
Killorn- Cirelli - Stammer
Raddysh/Joseph - Colton - Joseph/Raddysh
Maroon - Bellemarre - Perry

I think the important thing is we have options. It's great to have another right-handed winger in Raddysh that can be moved throughout the lineup.

I sure have. I think him and Raddysh could be great assuming Coop caves when Point and Kuch's demand Palat goes back on their wing.

Palat Point Kuch
Jo Stammer Raddysh
Killer Cirelli Colton for matchups
Fine Wine Line.

Everyone I developing chemistry with everyone with all the injuries I don't know we can miss. But once everyone is Healthy were looking at a second PP unit of Raddysh Cirelli Killer/Palat Sergy.... Maroon? I'll take that.

(Warning: Rant incoming)

Indeed. Unacceptable. How do you lose 4-0-FOUR TO NOTHING!!!-to the SENATORS???!! THE OTTAWA SENATORS!!! THE ISLANDERS BEAT THE SENS!! THE CANUCKS BEAT THE SENS!!! THIS IS JUST THE DEFINITION OF NOT SHOWING UP TO THE GAME.
Look, even with Elliott in net (and I don't understand why he was in net in the first place, he'd just played against Philly, Vasi had only played the past 2 games and would've had 2 days of rest until the next game on Tuesday), you can't lose, let alone get SHUTOUT. Even with no Kuch, Point, or Cirelli (not to mention Cernak), you can't lose 4-0 to the SENATORS, especially after beating the Leafs and Jack Campbell the game before.
Let's just forget about that one and move on.

Yes. But these sort of games happen all of the time. They do all the prep for a game against the Leafs then once they close out that one they ease off the throttle.

You can't got 82-0, nobody goes 0-82 and they're still winning the games that count. Would you like to see a better effort against the Sens? Yes. But end of a long road trip? Ross Colton 3rd amongst forwards in icetime?

Its not ideal. But it's far from a "Red Flag, Something Fundamentally Wrong" loss.

I also thought Moose played really well.
