This makes their defense corps weaker and doesn't improve the forward group drastically so I don't understand how you feel this way.

TB will do it without this trade. So they give up a future Norris candidate for some depth they have internally?

I think there’s a slight overrating of Sergachev and underrating of Johansson in this thread, this seems like a very possible trade. Sergachev is great, at this point he’s a 2D but could become a 1D, but I don’t see him seriously contending for the Norris any time soon. Johansson is a great D prospect, he played great in the SHL last season and has been tearing it up so far this season. Very possible he could come up and excel in the NHL, but he’s still only 20 and may need a bit more time to marinate overseas.
Fabbri is a great middle 6 winger, Namestnikov can be a Swiss army knife (though his spot in the bottom six would be better served for Maroon), and Stecher fills his role on defense very well. Brattstrom would be considered a throw-in normally, but he had a really good preseason and IMO could replace Elliott if he falters. I’d either add another pick so it’s not just a 2nd for futures or replace Namest with Erne (better player and fits bottom 6 role) and this is probably considered on both sides.

Ok Sergachev is 23 and all of a sudden just suck assinine comment. Fabbri isn't much if any upgrade on Joseph.
TB loses Katchouk for nothing because like ABB he won't clear.
waivers. Raddysch is bigger more physical and TB coaching staff believes he can be an all situation player. Easy pass

Ok cool, you can chill out a bit. I can understand why TB wouldn’t want to make this trade, you don’t have to constantly respond to everybody in the thread with this much heat.
