It's a little early to redraft, but there are like 10-15 players I'd pick at 6 instead of Quinn. And why is Lundell (who had 25 points in 26 games in Liiga) at 13?

(a) Its never too early to redraft!
(b) Mercer probably goes in 6-10 range (if not higher)

Dawson Mercer was drafted right around where he should be, in the top 10 is lunacy

53 pts in 32 games, best defensive center in junior
One of best forwards on Canada’s world junior squad.
Was one of best players on Devils in pre-season.

Not really lunacy at all. Holtz was top-10. Mercer has looked every bit as good, if not better.

Id put him at 11. Stutzle, Laf, Byfield, raymond, drysdale, lundell, rossi, perfetti, holtz, holloway above him. Maybe can crack the top 10 depending on preference. Definitely not top 6. Hope he proves me wrong. Wish the Hawks drafted him when he was available. But not there yet.

Easier for me to view in tiers at this point.

Tier I: Lafreniere, Stutzle, Perfetti, Byfield
Tier II: Sanderson, Drysdale, Holtz, Raymond, Mercer, Lapierre, Jarvis
Tier III: Lundell, Rossi, Holloway, Neighbors
Tier IV: Schneider, Mukhamadullin, Barron, Quinn, Bourque, Zary, Brisson
Tier V: Amirov, Reichel, Chinahkov, Khusnutdinov, Peterka

(or something like that)

Think Mercer and Lapierre (former linemates) could both enter top-10 conversation based on current trajectory.

I think Lundell and Rossi are definitely in the 2nd tier. I was a big skeptic of Lundell before the draft, but he has really stepped up and is one of the best prospects not in the NHL, and thats not really an unpopular opinion at this point. Rossi got a little unlucky with the lost time due to covid but he hasnt done anything to warrant falling to the next tier.
