Lol at the idea that Chicago of all teams will trade for a sexual predator after what came out about the organization this offseason

It's whose included for Strome.

Don't see Bowman taking on that kind of problem with what's going on in regards to their organization right now.

I understand your point of view regarding the optic of acquiring Mailloux with what has come out about Chicago. However, to call Mailloux a sexual predator is a little overtop. Yes, the kid made a mistake and was punished under Swedish law for that offense. My understanding of the Mailloux incident was that he showed a picture of the girl with whom is shared an intimate moment with to his teammates. I don't think he even posted the picture online. And also, I don't recall anywhere in the story that he sexually assaulted her, etc.. Not defending Mailloux or his actions but the Chicago organization (and Bowman) turned a blind eye to formal complaints about an employee who was a true sexual predator.

None the less. The optics of the player involved vs the optics of what the organization is currently dealing with, mean Chicago should steer well clear of Mailloux at all costs. Bowman might as well sign his resignation papers the instant that trade was ever completed and wholly expect to never work in the NHL again if he did.

They don't need that kind of PR nightmare given they're already dealing with one of their current magnitude. It doesn't make one iota of sense.

Agreed CHI cant trade for mailloux but he isnt a sexual predator. Tbh though i got a good laugh when i saw mailloux to CHI. Would love to see it just for the controversy.

The amount of verbal gymnastics you had to go through here ought to be an indication of how much of a problem this kid is. **** him.
