You should absolutely not give up a 2nd rounder for Holtby.

I don't really know his price so probably a pick.

I mean, he'd have to absolutely light it up to be worth anything close to that, IMO. He's had below league average numbers in 3 of his past 4 seasons, and you could have had him for nothing a couple of months ago.

Like, max I'd offer would be a 3rd, similar to the Rittich deal last year. If it were me though, I'd probably give Primeau a shot before moving assets for a goaltender whose value is based primarily off his name.

With how Holtby has played Dallas should absolutely not move him, he has a .939 SV% currently. Right now he's our best goalie because Dobby has worse numbers, Oettinger is in the AHL, and Bishop is injured and not close to being back.

Someone suggested a package like Rittich. Rittich was a backup and had a bellow .905 SV% while Holtby is our starter and has an above .935%. I know it's a small sample size, but you'll see that he won't slack that much.

Bishop is on LTIR for a minimum of 24 days🙄.

Dallas need Holtby until then.

Since Price will probably come back after 30 days (by his ex-coach), you basically want to trade a 2nd for 6 days without Price...
