I would be thrilled to trade up somehow and draft Timothy Liljegren.

That ANA trade is a pipedream. Lindholm is a #1 Defenseman and you are giving up a top-4 guy and a UFA - not even close to equal value. Then the picks just throw it all off. Maybe if you did a 1st/JVR/Gardiner/Prospect.

Lol JVR+Gardiner is nowhere close to getting you a young D man like Lindholm, 1 year of JVR wont cut it. Plus where the Leafs will finish too move up to draft Liljegren unless Nylander and Kapanen are added there's no way the Leafs will move up far enough to draft him.

Badger- I know right..watching the defence this year has me thinking we need to seriously upgrade it to be in contention.

Nate- Yeah I was thinking it might be too little even with the cap dump but id be okay with a 1st in 2018, 2nd in 2017, JVR, Gardiner, Bracco for Lindholm, Stoner and a first in 2017.

Larkin- Nylander and Kapenen? you must be hoping we wanted to move up to Detroits spot. Two first's and MAYBE a mid level prospect would be enough especially if the team sending the pick had a dump to go along with it.

Can't imagine why the Leafs need Grigerenko, and you have slotted in the as a second liner. Hyman has scored more points and goals than Grigerenko this year. Why would CBJ trade Jenner for one year of Bozak?
