Description
Big fan of Chychrun and the ask on him seemed to be 2 1st round picks. The cap hit at 4.6 is extremely valuable during our dead cap years.

Ended shipping out Dumba with the hopes that either Addison takes his spot or Gologoski reunites with his old partner. Could have tried to make the space for greenway but decided it might just be best to move on.

I also believe Boldy Rossi will be ready and that Sturm can take a 3rd line checking role.

1. Chychrun isnt even remotely available
2. The ask would be way way way way more than two firsts.
3. That’s not two firsts.

I would love that trade for boston.

2) dumba is worth more than that. After being named Alternative captain, gm said, it was to reassure dumba about his future in Minnesota. Also because of who he is , and off the ice. " dumba is in same boat like Foligno

3) see yah greenway. Getting tired of his laziness , but you go for earlier pick kn 2nd round and b prospect

Thought I saw that if they moved him it would need to be for two firsts. Could be a fake rumor though.

Carson Lambos (2021 1st rounder) and a 2022 1st round pick would be 2 1sts tho..?

Carson lambos is a player, not a draft pick. The problem with that kind of thinking is that former first rounders can suck, and their value is very subjective, while a draft picks is not.

Some random blogger posted a tweet a few months ago about chychrun being available for two firsts. A real reporter poked around, it was shot down as absurd (because its ridiculous), and the random blogger deleted the tweet. He’s the most unavailable thing arizona has.

I agree that Dumba should be worth more, but in a flat cap world there are players being moved for lower amounts than they usually would be. Look at Fluery being traded for nothing and Nate Schmidt being traded for a 3rd. Since Dumba has a $6M cap hit that could diminish his return. Also Dumba being the assistant doesn't disqualify him from being traded IMO. With our cap squeeze coming up I highly doubt we will re-sign him so it could make sense to trade him after this season ends. We also have a natural replacement in Addison which makes it easier to do.

Fair enough, I was simply thinking in the mind of a GM where if I traded away a LD, I would a younger one back in return in Lambos who's still only 18.

I think the Greenway deal could happen. A 2nd seems more than fair and I like the idea of pushing it into the future (sorry for my pessimism on the Bruin’s future).

As an alternative, I wonder how they feel about Beecher. Maybe him and a 3rd if it’s this year?

Given that the bruins will be desperate for centers pretty soon, i think they would prefer the second to Beecher.
