Dont agree about Toffoli
Older sure but they're on Par atleast
Comtois is growing into a Toffoli but by 21 Toffoli had a SC and Double Digit production over Comtois on a Contender.
Comtois is on a non playoff team not really fighting for minutes like Toffoli had to and still producing less.

IMO id rather an Older Toffoli who came to MTL after being inspired watching the down and out Habs battle PIT for a playoff spot lead by Nick Suzuki
He's the Perfect Mentor for Suzuki who's taken to him rather quickly

I'd make a trade for Groulx though as he's a Bellmare/Sissons type who might need a year or 2 in Laval but will make the NHL
Poehling is the opposite and needs a team to invest in him now or else he's going to be stranded in the AHL or Europe
Poehlings big issue is he's a big guy but plays like Don Cherry described "european style hockey" which forced KK to defend him as he just Sulks
Putting him Beside Deslauriers who i know First hand from his days in MTL is a Fierce Protecting /Sparkplug who can skate hard and make good plays when needed.
I think putting Deslauriers-Poehling-Comtois on a line could have pretty good offensive numbers

Its one of those situations where neither team loses anything they just have players best suited for other systems
Groulx will thrive in a speed based system
Poehling will thrive on a team that plays a more standard possession game who relies on special teams when they do have success.

Caufeild for Drysdale is a tough sale
Both great prospects and each team could use the other
But each team also kinda needs each prospect and its just robbing Peter to pay Paul

He may be good Offensively
But Caufield as short as he is players better D and is more physical

More importantly when it mattered he stepped up to fill a big void when Drouin stepped out for Personal Reasons
He was Top 3 in the playoffs in scoring but more importantly he played Solid Defensively

Remember MTL wasnt a playoff team when Caufield joined
He was the Spark in many ways
Drysdale hasnt inspired that same reaction even though he is awsome

in what world is comtois better? he's had one okay season and has 0and 0 this year
the question in the trade is Caufield or Drysdale. do you want a potential 30-35 goal offensive forward or a potential 60 point offensive d

I think Comtois have more value than TT 1 for 1
TT is definitely the better player right now, but ANA are in no need of TT right now
I rather have Caufield but Drysdale is a nice dman
Imagine Zegras-Caufield
But I would stick with Caufield personally

I try it on NHL22. Habs have to add 3rd pick to be accepted by ANA.
