Well, Winnipeg certainly passes and Rask isn;t coming (let alone for that $ amount). And Danualt, nice a player as he is, is not a 1C. Not sure you;ve really improved things that much, if at all.

RIGHT, Hope this is meant as a joke? because Danault, Rielly and Dubois aren't happening. And Rask only signs with Boston or retires.

"Around Atkinson"? He is 32 years old. He'll be a great complementary piece moving forward, but the Flyers still have to build around Couturier, Farabee, Hart and Provorov.

pretty sure Hayes and Atkinson are good friends, trading Hayes away seems counterintuitive

If that is all it would take to get Giroux Ottawa would have already made this trade.
The real question is how much is he willing to extend for with Ottawa, let them talk and then do the trade.
