If Mackinnon does in fact take less next year in order to win, say takes a Kucherov deal at 9.5-10 mil. With Compher and Johnson expiring and still 3 mil to work with, this team would be so sick

I think 10-11m is the magic number for Mack. Point signed his 9.5m extension. And they are only 1 year difference in terms of year, age drafted etc. If Point is getting 9.5m, Mack even leaving money on the table is around 10m IMO
