Maybe so. But just wouldn’t want them taking one of our three centers.

How is it a huge overpay without including Mercer or Holtz?

Tkachuk isn't good enough to get a top 6 forward, 2 top 10 prospects (on NJ) and a first. Also he is going to hold out for big $$ (9-10MM per) to stay in Nj because he wants to be in St. Louis

Zacha is no slouch.
Foote, Boqvist and 1st are nice gambles.

Except he will be negotiating with family
(It’s either going to make signing him easy or hollidays hard).

No idea if Calgary would accept that but honestly think it’s a very good offer well thought out. Great job

No at all I am a hockey fan, but that's more than Buffalo just got for Eichel. Also the upcoming Tkachuk contract negotiations are real, they have been quoted as taking pride in getting the most money possible. I just don't think he is a 9-10MM player. I would gladly take him on the Oilers if he was available at 7.0 - 7.5 MM per season.

Tuch is way more valuable than Zacha, Krebs is worth 10 Footes.

Zacha > Tuch.
Krebs > Foote.

Zacha/Foote = Tuch/Krebs

(I'd keep the former. Younger, cheaper, healthier, hungrier)

Zacha has outproduced Tuch in each of the last two years and is on fire to start the season. Plus Zacha can play center. Zacha>Tuch

Krebs has more value than Foote but not 10 times as much fool. Foote outproduced Krebs in the NHL and they were drafted 10 picks away from each other.

At least have some reasoning before making dumb claims

Zacha is a dime a dozen player. A good second/third line forward. Every team has a player like Zacha. Tuch is one of the few power forwards in the NHL and has been a gamebreaker in past playoffs.

Guess we'll have to see on Krebs and Foote. Apparently it was Krebs or Theadore in the Eichel trade so that's quite the NHL comp. Again, every team has a prospect like Foote. Holtz and Hughes are also worth 10 Footes. Maybe I'm wrong but I value elite prospects way more than a guy who will just play games and maybe develop into a 2nd line centre. They're comparing Krebs to ROR.

Zacha is a dime a dozen, but Tuch is a gamebreaker? What?
Zacha is unquestionably the more valuable player.

Their last 82 games
Zacha: 27g, 29a, 56 pts
Tuch: 21g, 20a, 41 pts

Zacha is also around the same size, a year younger, and has half the contract (Zacha $2.25 million, Tuch $4.75 million), is more well-rounded player, can play center, is better defensively, can play short-handed, takes face-offs, etc etc.

Foote and Krebs are similar in value.
Foote has had a little more success as a pro, has significant size advantage, and better shot.
But I give very small edge to Krebs since he is a better skater and playmaker.
But they are not far off.

Krebs is really one of the more overrated prospects. For some reason, many want to put him in that Zegras, Lundell, Byfield tier....while he should be bottom of tier II with guys like Zary, Perreault, or top of tier III with guys like Khusnutdinov, Bourque, Veleno

To me he's between the Lundell tier and Zary tier but he really is getting overrated
