I agree just look at Dahlin! we could use both prospects, work with them for a few years and then bring them up.
Georgiev is still a prospect/ young goalie worth working with I think he could still be good!

My only problem is both players are LH shots and yes they play RW but play off wing, I would prefer a young Center or Prospect C and a solid RD prospect for Hertl, but if we did this I wouldn't be upset.

I'm down for Kravstov being part of a Hertl trade package, but Kakko is a draft bust whose playstyle won't help our top 6 without a center like Hertl and we don't need to radically shakeup our goaltending at this time unless Reimer gets hurt. Also, getting rid of Hertl and Balcers for that return without any draft picks would be insane. Hertl would justify a 1st round and a 4th round pick being added to the package, and a 2nd or 3rd round pick added for a Balcers trade.

that plus maybe a 2nd would be a yes for me. the pick could be subject to playoff performance or resigning (not 100% sure what the new CBA would allow) but the two players are who I would want.
if the CBA would allow I would offer (i don't think they would) lets say 2nd to us if you make the conference finals, 1st if you make the cup finals or if he resigns, sharks 3rd to the rangers if none of those scenarios happen and a 1st goes back to the ranger if Hertl resigns with he sharks in the offseason.

100% agree, however the way the Rangers are handling this I think is poor, I would reel him back have him go down to the minors for a season or back oversees to Sweden or the KHL to gain experience and confidence and then come back. stronger next year.

so a 1st a 2nd a 4th, kappo, kravstov and georgiev i hope you realize that is more then what eichels orignal asking price was. kravstov and kappo are not busts they are just being developed wrong. san jose is in a rebuild mode where they have more patience in giving kappo and kravstov the time to develop properly and become the best they can be.
Hertl is a good 1st line center no doubt it but there is 3 problems here
1. hertl is older then eichel
2. hertl is on an expiring deal which yes will dramatically affect his value
3. hertl is not even close to the talent eichel is eichel is a franchise player, hertl is the type of player that you get to surround your franchise player
i just don't see them getting more then eichel at best they get equal value as buffalo got lowballed quite a bit

balcers is a fringe 2LW more likely a career 3LW.

the deal is more then fair as all 3 of those players are under the age of 24 and fit san jose's timeline way better then reimer and hertl do they are also much cheaper options as hertl will want a nice pay raise same with balcers after the 2022/23 season
at most maybe they add a 2nd but again with hertl being a ufa this upcoming offseason and with them not handling the kane situation yet and hertl making it very clear he is unhappy with kane being there and if san jose is a bottom 10 team in the league again there is a chance that if san jose gets too greedy and picky they will just loose him for free. i say take this deal and run.
not to mention san jose needs to clear cap as meier QO is 10 mill when his contract is up and couture, karlsson, vlasic, burns and kane(due to his antics off and on the ice) are pretty much immovable contracts unless you pay a hefty price for a team to take them on.
