So the habs are looking to get a top 5 pick, worst case scenario its between 5-10 (nightmare scenario its 11)

Who should the Habs target?

Wright is consensus #1 All around elite, lack a bit of skating but its still not bad. He’s a #1C for me

After we have Savoie, he’s the most dynamic of the draft. Great shot amazing skating and speed + very good playmaker. Coule see him as a 1C but maybe more a top line winger.

3 for me its still Lambert. Rough season for him but I think next year he’ll get back to his past form.

At 4 the russian sniper Ivan Miroshnicheko. Almost a copy of Ovechkin in the way he play

5 goes to Nemec, excellent offensive D with an amazing transition game

After that we have Kemmel, Geekie, Jiricek, Cooley, Slafkovski, Yurov…

If the habs have the 4th pick overall, who should they draft?

Miroshnichenko doesn’t have a killer instinct. All the tools and talent in the world, and he just doesn’t put it together. A lot like Alexander Semin. Montreal needs a lot of everything so it would be between nemec and Cooley if I were the habs

Yurov is better than Miroshnichenko. He's skilled, fast, strong, responsible (so much that he played on the PK in the KHL this year despite playing 4 minutes per game) and has got IT. He's the next Svechnikov imo. So if not Wright, Jiricek, Nemec, Yurov, Cooley, Savoie in that order for me.

I mean and offensive RHD is Montréal’s biggest organizational hole right now. I’m not sure who’s better out of the options, but I would love to get someone like Nemec.

if we don't get one of the Big4 Centers (Wright, Savoie, Cooley, Geekie) we should be taking Nemec or Jiricek
