You know Holl and Manson are about equal on the ice the past two seasons So the Leafs aren't giving up all that for Comtois.

Rebuilding teams don't trade young players. If you take note of leafs trades over the last 4-5 years you will notice that they aren't grabbing young guns.

No doubt, I’ve seen his name bounced around last year when Terry had a down year. Can’t see ANA is moving either. And yes 100 percent, the Leafs don’t go after young guns. I mean **** got to be JVR was the last one

It gets bounced around on here. Never in real life. Players value and their value to the teams that drafted them do not fluctuate as wildly as they do in cap friendly.

Terry didn't have a down year. He was the Ducks best player last season and played very good. He just didn't put up as many points. And there was a single "rumor" of him wanting out and that was probably because he got scratched a few times. He didn't get scratched after that and played even better.

Is that not the equivalent of a "down year" Happy he is finishing those chances off this year. ANA has a good one

To me the equivalent of a down year is that someone played worse. But he didn't. And even if you just look at points, you'll see that it can't really be considered a down year because he scored a career-high 20 points in 48 games.
