Description

This deal retain what u want or add what u want but Edm has a sticky situation this off-season and getting bernier at 2 for another year and an 18 min per night defenseman for 1 is massive. Along with wood who can get u two dozen goals and be a spark plug for the group. Edm also dumps Russell smith and turis all in one trade.

Holloway is an amazing talent that’s why the devils do it and the oilers top six is already pretty set and I don’t think they want to part with broberg

So before you lose ur cool think of what goodrow and Coleman’s returns were when they had a year remaining. Also devils won’t likely be out of it when this trade would occur so it’s not them willingly handing over 3 pieces that can help their postseason hopes

Well since Turris and Russell are UFA's, the trade ages like this at the end of the year:
EDM gets: Bernier, Siegenthaler, Wood
NJD gets: Smith, Holloway

New Jersey says yes because they exchange goalies, give up a mid-pairing and mid-6 player, and end up with arguably Edmonton's best prospect but I think Edmonton declines
