    The Zucker trade was good. He was their best player prior to the season cancellation in 19/20 when he was playing alongside Crosby. (Which is what he was brought here to do). It's not his fault that Sullivan won't maximize his ability by sticking him to Malkin.

    Getting Tanev would have been a waste since he would have been on the bottom pair. It's not good cap management to sign someone for 4.5 million and stick them on the bottom pair.

    With Tanev moving into a much more limited phase of his career, idk if his contract is that much better than Matheson's, being very solid only does so much

    Could also just play Addison who they gave away in that awful Zucker trade

    Guentzel Malkin Rust was a great line but sullivan is stubborn. Zucker should be with sid

    Brandon being in Pittsburgh doesn't mean Chris would have gone there, he clearly wanted to stay in Western Canada. It's like how Luke Schenn has had the option to sign with St. Louis every year but hasn't
