Hard pass on Domi. Not interested in trading Kravtsov for a rental.

    What’s wrong with Georgiev?

Also you’d get Domi even if you took out Kravtsov.

Idk if we can get anymore for a disgruntled player, with only a promise of potential and no shot he plays this year.

I think Drury either moves him at TDL to bring in someone or he might play top 6 after KHL is done to bring up his value and move him in off-season

Its not like hes not playing, hes got 2g 1a in 4 gms with Traktor. He also never said he wouldnt play, just wouldnt play for the Rangers. Whatever his value was as a player hasnt changed, the only thing that has changed is the leverage the Rangers have in a trade. However, the Rangers wont let him go for nothing. Furthermore, I dont think the Rangers are a cup contending team this year so it makes no sense to make this trade.

Unless by some miracle the Rangers bandage whatever fracture occurred, I see no chance of him putting on the Rangers jersey ever again.

right now theyre looking like they could be. especially if you watched the last 4 games. instead of stealing games they were winning. they just outplayed the leafs in a game where they only had a defensemen score and one goal was VERY SOFT. they shut down a top 3 forward group... hard, only allowing 3 good scoring chances... plus the rangers has a history of making pushes they shouldnt make haha.

This trade doesnt have a long term downside in my opinion. the Kravstov thing is unfornate but, moving georgi further helps cap space issues, and giving up 2 picks that werent ours doesnt really help.

Lets assume kravstov gets traded this season, what do you think that trade looks like? 1 for 1 swap on disgruntled prospects? a rental C or RW to help with depth?

Hes also an RFA this summer, so youll just end up flipping his signing rights in the offseason... which imo, will get even less of a return

If they cant patch up the issues with him, hes gone at the deadline. However I dont think Pavelski is worth that much in a trade especially if the Stars are well out of it.

Right but you’re still over the cap some. Not sure how that will apply at the TDL, but retaining on Pavs would help you make those other additions

I see Strome getting mentioned in lots of trade proposals, so I thought more perspective is needed. I'm not saying a 2nd Rd pick is unreasonable, but CHI is now recognizing his value and would likely wait until the deadline to see how much they could get.

Here's the thing: they have a new GM and a new coach, who is actually playing Strome at C with other skilled players and even uses him in the bumper role on the 1st PP unit (instead of freakin Ryan Carpenter). So they are building his value back. He was actually above .8 PPG his first two years in Chicago, before he got into Cool youth pastor's dog house. So it wouldn't be so surprising to see him put in 40 points in 45-50 games and get a bidding war going.

But if the Blackhawks go back to more of a re-build mode, it's also not the worst thing to have a 24-year old C who can score, so they may be a motivated seller.
