    The McDavid deal is certainly more reasonable than the NJ or Anaheim deal. Overpaid 4.8m 3rd liner Sutter for a second line winger....no thanks from Ducks, and NJD, don't throw around 6m on one bad player, maybe four bad players.

    The Edler deal makes no sense for Philadelphia. The McDavid deal is a head scratcher. There is no way that the Canucks make that deal. It basically insures that if they suck for one or two years, they lose on the deal because they dont get those picks.

    If the Canucks resign Gudbranson to that deal, I would be watching the Whitecaps and Lions instead until Benning and Linden get fired.
