First of all don't you think hexy would have traded MDZ at the deadline if he wasn't planning on bringing him back and also MDZ him self saying how much he loves it in philly, never been with such a close group of guys and how he wants to help bring on the kids. And second of all Varlamov is a good goalie yes he's had a bad year this year but hasn't Mason and neuvy, maybe they all need a change of scenery and his contract is only for 2yrs a good bridge till the kid goalies start to fight it out. And if Varlamov could get back to his play of only a couple years ago it would be a good move
AND THIRDLY WHY DON'T YOU TRY DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT OTHER THAN YOUR PATHETIC TEAMS 10 TIMES A WEEK WITH 99% THE SAME MOVES AS THE TEAM BEFORE THINKING THE MORE YOU DO IT THE MORE PEOPLE THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA!!!!

I don't care if MDZ likes it in Philly, he is atrocious! As for Varlamov, I don't think he is better than Mason and we can likely get Mason for what you have Varlamov for above.

The reason my teams don't vary very much is because this team is heading in the right direction, we just need a slight change or 2! The fact that you have Weise and Laughton in this lineup over Read and Weal proves your lack of knowledge.

The reason Hextall didn't trade MDZ was because the return was too low for his liking. He isn't very good and is not going to. be very good. He might have a season like Sam Gagner did this year with Columbus, but after that, he won't be anything special again.

Dale Weise is complete trash. Laughton is a lost cause at this juncture...maybe a bottom-6 forward if he can put it together. Weal is by far the best out of Laughton and Weise, all you have to do is watch one game. MacDonald is a potential buyout candidate.

The misconception is that Mason is bad, when his reality face value is higher than his perceived face value. Look at our defensemen. Andrew MacDonald is starting. MDZ is starting. Nick Shultz on occasion is starting. These three players are like a CDO in 2008.

Personally, I think Laughton's career path is trending exactly like Weal's. Too good for the AHL and not good enough for the NHL until it finally "clicks"

Laughton is nothing like Weal. Weal can play in the NHL level las year, but we had Laughton in instead. Laughton is going to be a max bottom-six forward and won't play anything more than the second PP unit, if that. The writing is on the wall with him.
