Description
I don't think Vancouver has had a serious rebuild in over a decade. They are good at drafting, which is their only bright spot. So let's fire the GM, Head Coach, and trade everyone. Burn it down.

The only trade that makes any sense here or is close to actual value is the Boston trade.

What's off by how much? Genuinely interested.

Nucks are not waiting 5 years minimum before they see anything from a Boesser trade.

They are not trading Elias.

Miller is worth more than Fiala and C is more valuable than wing. Swapping 1 for 1 is a bad move.

Taking quantity rather than quality is always a mistake. Many of those pieces in the multi piece return have little to no value. Especially when you have exceeded the roster limit.

Look what you have done to the center position. You went from one of the deeper C teams in the league to a pretty bad one. There is zero need to trade all 3 of them. 1 will do. Then dump Myers and Hamonic. Can decide on Boesser when the dust settles.

Why would the Canucks trade an elite caliber, 22-year old defensemen if they go through a rebuild? That’s exactly the kind of player you tailor a rebuild around

Jt Miller isn't a c. He's a winger, specifically LW with capabilities to play like 2, or 3c part time. He's not a 1, or 2c full time

And yet he’s playing C1 for them right now and is 2nd on the team in faceoffs taken for the year. That would be a center.

Oh and he’s won 58% of them. He’s taken almost 4000 in his career. Fiala…31 in 8 years. Center v. wing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Miller has played all 3 FW positions througout his career. He’s just fine at C. And the way he’s played the last couple of years he’s a #1 center at that. .96 PPG and 57% from the dot while in Vancouver.

Just because he takes face-offs doesn't make him one no matter what you said. Evidence shows he's not a 1, or 2c, otherwise for years , Vancouver wouldn't have relegate him to winger. There's other players on wild who play all three positions also, doesn't mean much. The ppg is such a very weak argument, and deluded argument at best because of who he plays with. If you want to make that argument I can since you pick the weakest arguments to tackle. That's your opinion that he's a #1c, which he isn't

So who takes faceoffs? Which position? Go look at any team. The top 3 in faceoffs taken on every team, are the top 3 centers.

Faceoffs taken is the most indicative stat as to who plays center. What is your next brilliant comment? “Just because he leads the team in saves doesn’t mean he’s a goalie? “. Lol.

But hey you do you. Bottom line. Miller is way more valuable than Fiala.

Ottawa is overpaying for Garland, once you add Connor Brown.
