I do not understand why so many Penguins fans on this site like Holl. He sucks. He would be the 9th best defenseman in the organization. Giving up anything more than a 6th round pick for him is a waste.

Honestly, I'm not feeling any of these ideas.

1) Holl isn't necessary. He brings more offensive punch than Friedman or Ruhwedel, but so far both have played an all around better game than Holl.
2) Ruhwedel is underrated. Pens should keep him. He's all value all day.
3) Value works, but Blomqvist is not ready yet. You need another trade here to replace DeSmith.
4) I don't see Seattle moving picks just yet. There COULD be something in a Zucker/Jarnkrok swap, but Seattle isn't paying a premium here IMO.
