Creating offense isn't everything. Aho and Barkov are elite 200ft players who can both win faceoffs, play PK and defend well. All three things Jack cant.

Is it a coincidence that the devils struggle to find footing without Hughes but when Aho goes down the Hurricanes are perfectly fine?

Also at least per JFresh, aho doesn't even have better defensive analytics than Hughes
