With who? The free agent market was pretty bare. Granlund was the guy i wanted.

Granlund is really good. Don't think CF users loved the idea of him playing C apposed to RW which he is apparently more suited for and his natural position but he's been quietly having a really good year.

C1 for Preds. More assists than anyone on B’s, exactly what the offense is missing. The other free agent C’s just did not fit.

Yep. Hate it when the perfect options slip through.

    Ignorant and false statement.

Very very accurate and informed. Multi-millionaires don’t want to live in buffalo if they have their druthers. It’s cold, high tax, and depressing.

    He's not wrong
If you were a player, would you be willing to sign in Buffalo?

Isn't that most of Canada? New York? Chicago? Boston? New Jersey? Washington? Most big markets in the NHL?

You mean the country ranked #1 for quality of life? Chicago, Boston, and Washington? I guess I could see some people not loving NYC, because it’s just so big, but the other three are pretty universally viewed as some of the best cities in the world.

No one actually likes buffalo. They’re just not mean so they don’t make it public that they hate it.

Come on, that's not fair. I'm not a fan of the franchise but he city itself is far better than it was 20 years ago. I I wouldn't have an issue living there.

Neither would I. I didn’t sign an 8 figure contract. See the difference? I think Buffalo is super fun. I have a great time every time I go. If I was filthy rich, I wouldn’t be spending a second in Buffalo.

There are richer people living in much worse places. Detroit, for instance. Or Winnipeg.

Rich people don’t want to live in Winnipeg either.

when rask resigns with boston, rask will likely be 1A or 1B with ullmark. they dont give ullmark that huge deal and then immediately move him. hes a bruin. swayman will probably get sent to providence and then we will see about next year. probably only a 1 or 2 year deal for rask.
