Ducks fans seem to be pretty high on Comtois, so I'm not sure how they'll feel about this deal.

A late first probably doesn't get it done. ANA doesn't have a reason to want to move him.

I'd do it if Anaheim would do it, but I don't think Anaheim would trade Comtois.

Most Ducks fans will say a 1st + Robertson/Amirov + roster play won't get it done

i dont think its outlandish to say that one or both of those guys could be better than comtois, only 2 years younger and a first? lol

That isn't enough for a player like Comtois who clearly factors into the Ducks future quite nicely.

It's much too soon to give up on Comtois. We have serious hopes he'll be a top-6 LW for the foreseeable future. The risk-reward ratio would have to be very low for us to consider trading Max.

I just saw he was a healthy scratch and in the “dog house” and hasn’t scored yet

He's not "in the doghouse" -- the lousy start to his year has been due to an injured hand, for which he's been operated on and will keep him on the IR list until 2022.
