Mayfield hasn't been that good this year. I would rather keep Liljegren and his controllable years.
Yea Kerfoot hasn't been as good as Miller this year, but Kerfoot has been productive and excellent defensively, Kerfoot was the Leafs second best forward last playoffs. Is the difference worth the Leafs best prospect and a first?

Then you’re wrong. Vancouver declines. Value makes no sense

Kerfoot has 16 in 24. Miller has 23 in 24. Yes, Kerfoot is surrounded by great players and his stats may be inflated, but he could be a top 6 forward. You are also getting 2 1st round picks included... how much do you expect for Miller?

More especially since the Canucks are retaining and taking a players salary. The price would be a first, second, and Amirov with for retention.

For 1.5 years of Miller 50% retained? Yes

Ok, you like Ho-Sang. I get it. Ho-Sang isn't playing in your top 6 over a guy you just paid a top 6 winger, a 1st and a top prospect for.

Yeah, I would have to agree. It's a STEEP price because Kerfoot has been playing great since he has recovered from the broken jaw and those other injuries. He has also shown himself versatile but...JT Miller is still a solid improvement.

That deal @MatthewsFan has suggested benefits BOTH teams as it gives Vancouver future help with all the Leaf assets being younger than JT Miller and allows the Leafs a a chance to cheap the team together next season as well if they show progress in this year's playoffs.

Not to the Canucks though. If they are trading Miller, it means they are missing the playoffs and should probably retool. Kerfoot isn’t really going to be much use. Also the picks are ideally in 2022

Fair deal for Mayfield. Isles say yes.
