Sorry, but i disagree with the trade. Rinne is pretty good. I think Halak could maybe get them a 6th if from NSH, and maybe a 5th from a few teams.

Trade isn't about getting equal talent in return. It's about making room for better talent available on July 1st; ie. Darling

Rinne has been under performing at times but they are gonna ride him out through his deal and hang on to him for the transition of Saros. Saros is undersized but solid and is the future that will need an affordable vet backup which could be rinne after he resigns. So in other words I couldn't image one new goalie in Nashville let alone two. I'd the argument is that darling is better then rinne that is a fine debate but Saros on an entry level deal with rinne at 7mil is a very decently budgeted tandem with good enough talent versus roughly the same price for an unproven full time starter and a recently demoted NHL goalie.

Ok, that's mean to Jaro Halak. But Grabovski isn't even part of the trade really. It's just his contract. So one minor league goalie, not 2 pieces of garbage.
