Well, first, Rangers cant give up Kakko AND Kravtsov in this trade.

If you want the cap hit to go down, send him through a third team, like Buffalo or Arizona. His salary for next season is pretty low, so it wont cost those teams much, compared to the cap hit it will have.

But again, the Rangers dont really need scoring. They need faceoffs, physical play and PKing.

So the cap isn't a thing anymore?

If your gonna get Kane out of Chicago I think it has to include Kreider.
Chicago is in a rebuild and they could really use his leadership and locker room presence. Also helps make the money work.
