why trade ur first and second round picks for an old Dman. Rather keep ur picks and rebuild a bit longer.

If half-retained Colin Miller is that cheap, I'd assume the vast majority of teams would accept. Even as a Wings fan who thinks our RD corps is already perfect and can do no wrong, I'd snatch him up in a heartbeat.

I love the idea of Manson, he's a perfect fit for this team. I'm sure it would be an extremely tough sell, if Anaheim even lets him walk.

Why are we giving up so much for a pending UFA when we won't be contenders?

I agree, but so is the original offer!

Look, this is bad on many levels for the Sabers and there is more than enough apparent reasons why they shouldn't do it. But... Old? Dumba's only 27. Sure he's not exactly young anymore, but he's still under 30.

He's too old for a rebuilding team, that is true, but he's not old by any stretch of the imagination. There is a difference.

Minnesota isn't trading dumba for a bottom line winger, and a 1st round pick from Vegas. The other things are nothing. Dumba isn't being moved, and if he was, it would be for a top 6c
