If someone else picks my team and you want to rope them into this that's fine, I like the Bruins the most, but I'd be competent playing GM as any team. Basically what my above statement I made is saying, is that you can take me out of the game until I can be able to comply with what you want. IF someone picks my team it doesn't matter to me, i'll play as anyone. If the game fills without me thats fine too, i'll just watch with a bucket of popcorn. I'd probably even take the role of league Commissioner. I think I've got a good rep in terms of posts per day, so I'm pretty active and could be the commish posting that deals had been verified because both teams GM's had posted that they did the deal. I'd take as big or small a role as I was given and wouldn't complain. If I just have to watch that's fine with me too. I'll try to look for the site we used to chat on. so everyone doesn't just have to mass posts here.

Wait, are you saying you can't make an armchair-gm team? No problem. Until you can, if you make trades, you can post them on here on a list, and then once you can make an armchair-gm team, you can post the trades and signings there.

Guys, the mods here think this game is a great idea, and are looking at the options of implementing a sub-forum specifically for it, where we can place the AGM teams that are part of it, this main thread can be stickied, and the rest of the posts can be used for discussion etc. That should be suitable for chat purposes as well

Footballs Future was doing this game atleast 10 years ago for football and I was part of a few. It's tons of fun if everyone is active and the biggest thing is that you hold a Mock Draft of the draft eligible players a couple weeks before the actual draft, After you find out who wins the lottery. Free Agency happens before the draft and you get to see what your finalized team is from the game before the actual Free Agency or the Draft happens. Then you get to watch the real events and compare what you did vs what your teams actual GM did. It's commonplace to have done better / different than the actual GM.
Oh, also, i have a question. What do we do if someone actually makes a trade?
Well, you're the commissioner aren't you?
Simple: have both parties post they have agreed to a trade, and on both armchair-gm teams, have the users submit the trades, that way people can follow the moves
