Are you still up for trading me a 5th for Jimmy Hayes?
If you're allowed to get something for Jimmy Hayes, why does everyone want me to give up something to get rid of Kulemin???
Because I have a silky tongue that can persuade the masses. I paint a perfect picture connecting logical, statistical and emotional levels with my trade partner. This guy basically came to me, but everyone else I'm talking with beating down brush, kissing babies and trying to select deals where not only I win, but the person I'm trading with is made better by having done the deal.

no but Kronwall or Ericsson for kulemin ?
Wait we're not doing the deal now? You said like 3 times yes and I put it on the official list. You sure you want to back out now?

Even though Kulemin's contract is higher he's probably been the better player.

Well the X factor is: Jimmy Hayes was once good and is still young. He's proven he can't play on my team, but it's his hometown team and he feels too much pressure. He could easily score 15 goals next year somewhere else. He just can't do it for me. He scored 19 in Florida a couple years ago, so he's got it in him. He just needs a change of scenery. Kulemin is 30 and declining. He's basically a journeyman now.

That was like 7 years ago lol. He's only scored 15 goals once in the last 6 years. Jimmy Hayes has more value because he's younger, his good seasons are less far away and his contract is about half the price.
Guys just a quick heads up: Theres a College game starting in half an hour on ESPN2 I think. I've got 2 prospects on Harvard who I'm willing to move. Ryan Donato and big Wiley Sherman can be had for the right price. I probably want a young 2nd line LW or 3rd line RW who's affordable or a 3rd pair LHD who is likely to be a top 4 guy in the future. Obviously I'd add to these guys, but If you've got the time and are interested, catch the first period before the NHL action and do some live scouting on them. Donato is a left wing / center and Sherman is a big stay at home left handed defenseman.
Bumping this. Games coming on right now, perfect if you have a laptop turn the game on and watch my guys.
Jimmy Hayes this year - 58 games, 2 goals, 3 assists, 5 points, -3, 29 Penalty Minutes
Nikolay Kulemin this year - 71 games, 12 goals, 10 assists, 22 points, +2, 18 Penalty Minutes
So kulemin has a better points per game average this year, as well as a better plus-minus and less penalty minutes.

Ok, idk what you said. But that was very emotional. It's only a matter of time until I become the goat.
Jonathon Cheechoo also scored like 50/51 goals a decade ago, does that make him extremely valuable?.... yes.
He doesn't even play anymore. I'm just saying that Kulemin got 30 goals 6 years ago, which isn't that long ago. If whole careers have nothing to do with how good a player is, then why can Duchene get the avalanche Keller, MIN's 1st, and Ekman-Larsson???
