That’s fair but I see it as isles get a scorer and miss out on a miss out on good LDs

The trades are really bad. Can’t see the islanders having any interest in that.

Smith is awesome value at his cap number. Trading him for that return would be an unmitigated disaster.

Doubt bergeron gets two years. One year with performance bonuses.

bergy signs for less i see a 4.5 mill contract at most, evan rodrigues isn't need stud or steen will come up, keep smith. hertl and mayfield would be very nice additions

Wanting to “clear his cap,” is a horrid concept. His contract is fantastic cap value. With all the wasted space on this team, that’s who you’re looking to move? Bleh.

Debrusk won't get enough minutes to become the "scorer" and they would probably sign a meh LD instead of moving Mayfield.
