Description

With Maurice now resigning, and Lowry taking over as the interim coach, I’m curious to see how things play out.

Finally the jets can move on to a new chapter with a fresh face and voice. I’d imagine they just roll with Lowry until they find their guy. I’d like for them to look at Tocchet, Julien and Pascal Vincent. Might as well take their time and find the right guy.

Anyways, here’s what I expect the lines to be tonight, Lowry will continue operating close to what Maurice was using before.

Sad to see Maurice go as I think he did a lot for the club during his tenure but the writing was definitely on the wall. The team was underperforming and a change was needed. Hopefully this lights a fire under the Jets and they can put together a solid run.

Cause he was quietly doing pretty well with Connor and Dubois.

As I've said before, I don't like blaming the coach for everything that is wrong with the Jets, but there were undoubtedly some things where the only place left to place blame was the coach. Something had to be done and this is the most logical decision.

I'm hoping that NYI lets Trotz go after the start they've had and WPG can swoop in and sign the local guy!

Would be nice, but he holds a lot of the same tendencies that Maurice does. With how he sets his lines, handles young players and veterans it’s eerily similar to Maurice.

Good riddance to PoMo… couple years to late.

As for our top 6, it should be set as…
Connor - Dubois - Svechnikov
Copp - Scheifele - Ehlers

3rd Line will likely be… Stastny - Lowry - Vesalainen/Wheeler

Showed really good chemistry and fit with KFC and PLD, and Ehlers has been best with Scheif

Now that Mediocre PoMo is gone, hopefully we’ve seen the end of the Connor, Scheifele, Wheeler lineup catastrophe

I’m not sure that the trotz style would mesh well with a high flying team like the jets (pun intended)

Tocchet and Julien are at the top of my list for options. Lowry will finish out this year according to Chevy. I’d imagine they circle back to pascal Vincent as well.
