I'd suggest to rework the NJD deal a little.

VAN: Boqvist + Severson 50% retained salary.

NJD: Boeser

This is a better base for a deal involving Sevs and Boeser.
Devils are unlikely to part with both a 1st and Severson even if the trade goes down in the offseason.
I guess you could add a mid / late rd pick going to Van but not much more than that.
Though I'm not sure Vancouver would be interested in trading for a high-end UFA like Severson next year anyway.

J.T Miller is a good player. But Columbus, with the position they are in right now aren't going to move to young players and two top round picks for him.

No deal without the 1st rounder, Severson hasn't been that good the last couple of seasons, and Boqvist isn't that valuable since his development hasn't been going well lately

If Van decides to trade miller it most likely means they wanna retool so they’d probably be looking at prospects. In my opinion something like cuelemans and a 1st maybe add like a 3rd or something small and it’s probably pretty close

Granted, I've only seen highlights, but I've seen him on the ice for a lot of goals against, and he's often billed on the 3rd pair on Devils depth charts, that can't be a coincidence. How do I know you devils fans aren't just overvaluing one of your own players?
