Not even close. I know people swear Gallagher is a cap dump around here, but you have to understand that Montreal has no need or desire to move him, so you're going to have to be pretty convincing with any offer to get them to even consider it. He won't be moved for peanuts, if he's moved at all.

I think they would be happy to unload his contract off of their books, no team has any desire to pay to take it on, Montreal WILL have to pay to get rid of it

Why? He's good for 30 goals a year, is a great example for the kids, always gives full effort, team and fans love him. Even at 10-20 goals, he's worth the money. He'll still be useful for the remainder of his contract regardless.
