Eh. No thanks. I’d rather keep Lindholm right now. Also other teams could outbid this offer.

We already have an elite puck moving LHD, and he's got more than 1 year remaining

A 1st round pick+top prospect+additional pieces doesn't get it done for a rental that Anaheim is trying to move?

I’m pretty sure he is not

That was what was possibly going to happen at the beginning of the year because the ducks were supposed to be the opposite team that they currently are

It was looking like the TDL for Anaheim was going to have Lindholm Manson Rakell all shipping out getting picks but now not the case

If the Ducks get an offer for him they can't refuse, I think they would trade him.

But I agree, I do think they will be conservative at the TDL.

Anyone would trade anyone if they get on offer they can’t refuse though

There are some players that don't fall into the category, like Connor McDavid.

But Anaheim isn't "trying to move" him. However, if we get down to the trade deadline and it looks like we won't be able to re-sign him, then this would be a perfectly acceptable package for him.

But from Toronto's perspective, I don't see how it helps the Maple Leafs to acquire a third quality LD by weakening an already suspect right side of the defense while trading away last year's first and this year's first.

Horrible trade for Toronto, waste of assets for a pending FA who they can sign in the summer for free.

The usual horrid Leaf desperation TDL deal. Sure you traded Holl but also a another NHL Dman in Dermot. Look at that Dman lineup. Think it wise just to go with six NHL Dmen? And to give up a top prospect and top pick also.
