Dumba's value has always been a top 6c. That's always been the ask for him when he was available. He's untouchable now. But to think Minnesota would add a 1st, and 2nd for a bunch of trash is laughable.

Dumba was kept over Ryan Suter because of who he's as a person and player..Dumba was named Alternative captain to reassure him, and send him a message from Guerin that his future is in Minnesota. Dumba is in tge same spot of untouchable as wild players like kaprizov, Joel Eriksson ek, Ryan Hartman, Jared spurgeon, Marcus Foligno, Jonas brodin, Marco Rossi , calen addison, etc...

You might want to research into why this players are untouchable. The bubble doesn't mean anything consider the players guerin has gotten rid of , abd added. You comment about the bubble and this specific players listed shows you don't know much about wild, or care too. Foligno will not be traded. Spurgeon will not be traded. Brodin will not be traded. Kaprizov is obviously. Hartman signed a sweetheart contract so he will not be dealt. Matt dumba is obviously now, so is Marco Rossi and calen addison. Don't act like this is the same wild team

The playoffs will be the judge of that but if the Wild play Colorado with their current centres they will go down in 5 games as Hartman and Eriksson Ek will get taken a
part by a steady diet of MacKinnon,
Landeskog, Kadri and Newhook and Kadri will shutdown Kaprizov like when he shutdown McDavid or Matthews by getting under their skin

You're right on one thing. This trade offer is terrible (sorry TROY). MIN isn't giving up a top 3 D man and 2 high picks for Miller and cap fodder.

That being said, I do think MIN needs to add some pieces if they want to compete in the playoffs. And they will have to give up something of value (or "untouchable" in Minnesota speak)
