Just like Stralman and Ladd last year.. pure cap dump. I threw Koumontzis in since he's a Scottsdale and ASU kid, a bit of a feel good.

Another cap dump.. would require Dadonov waiving his trade protection assuming AZ is on his list of teams.. but let's say does. Morozov is currently in the VHL (which is KHL's equivalent of the AHL) he's playing well but hasn't cracked the SKA big club this year, i think this deal is essentially just like the Stralman one from last year.

Another cap dump with no Coyotes return. Two picks instead of 1 because of Matheson's term.

None of these guys are cap dumps except MAYBE Matheson and he wouldn’t be that expensive of a cap dump. Pens would trade him for a big contract with lesser term and throw in a mid round pick.

His one ice production disagrees with you. 1 goal in 21 games, 45.45% xG at 5v5 which *checks notes* is very bad - high danger chances at 5v5 this year at 70 against to 40 .. he's getting caved in.. the islanders are always hungry to improve and they don't have money to do it with unless they move out money.. Bailey is the only money to move out that makes sense but he's not a valuable player anymore, unless something changes

Josh Bailey is terrible, but you're wrong that they don't have money to improve. Worst case scenario they can just buy him out, there's no reason for the isles to give picks when they can use those picks to acquire a young forward/defenseman or restock their prospect pool. This is wishful thinking on your part.

The whole Isles team has been bad this year and Bailey has never been counted on to score goals but to help generate chances, and he does have 9 assists in 21 games. I am no fan of Bailey, but your take on comparing him to Andrew Ladd who was not part of the team for 3 years is ludicrous just like your trade.

Andew Ladd currently has 4 more goals than Josh Bailey while playing 4 minutes less per night on a team designed to be historically bad

We aren’t paying to move Dadanov, especially Morzov lol.

Who are you paying to move then because the entire league has you over a barrel?

And Ladd has 8 less assists. Bailey has been a 50 point player (would have been close the last two years if they were full seasons). For 5 straight years vs. a player they didn’t want on their AHL team. Bailey has value, Ladd did not, to compare them is incorrect.
