Start with the overall concept. Charlie coyle is the 1C, so this team should be tanking. But then you’re moving all sorts of stuff around for big name, big contract players. You shouldn’t be going after boeser and signing him to a big contract with Charlie coyle as the 1C.
Then branch out. The trade and re-sign concept isn’t really a thing. Keep pastrnak. I could go on and on about values of certain trades, but its all under the umbrella of kind of a half-assed rebuild.

Pastrnak has one year on contract. Eichel had 5 years. Also, Eichel is a centre.

true i didn't think of the contract and even so he will still get more then what u got for him

With all the injury stuff around him, the trade demand, pastrnak would likely get close to that price tag. It isn’t often a guy that’s led the NHL in goals recently is made available.

It’s not the right question. The right question is, “who should i go after instead?” The discussion regarding pastrnak should be a quick one. “Nope, doesn’t make sense, go elsewhere.” Done.

Pasta will be apart of the rebuild if it happens. No need to trade pasta away
