Description

With Bernier out for at least the season and possibly more and Blackwood now suffering from his heel injury again the Devils need to find a goalie if they want to keep winning because Blackwood will only be so good while playing through injury

Here are some options:
Marc-Andre Fleury
Joonas Korpisalo
Braden Holtby

I think Holtby would be the best option as he is having a bounce back year and looks really really good again. Also has lots of playoff experience if Berniers career is finished it wouldn’t be a bad idea to resign Holtby as next years backup he would be a great mentor to blackwood

I don't think...that Dallas thinks...they're out of the playoffs. They've only played 29 games so far. Once those games get played, they'll be much closer in the standings.

I think that Holtby is unlikely. A huge risk trading for MAF and he walks to UFA.

Add any goalie you like you still don't make the playoffs so im not sure why youd give up real assets. If you had to chase someone mrazek in toronto maybe , they may want to move on and free cap space.

Koskinen might be an option. He "works" as a 2G and is going to be relatively cheap.

Yeah but he is terrible and the point is to find someone who can take over as the starter for a while so that Blackwood can rehab and recover
