I don’t watch the Stars at all but the couple games I’ve seen of Seguin he’s been dog. I know he had hip surgery/Covid but I’ll let a Dallas fan chime in on his recovery. At ~10M that probably isn’t a gamble I’d take.

I don't doubt it, I was taking a stab at Harley as well. Seguin's contract has so much term left too...

I get the reasoning behind the trade but I really don't think either team would do this. Harley is Dallas's best prospect and they aren't going to trade him. If Seguin is struggling in Dallas with the forwards they have it isn't going to be any better in Detroit.

I always like Tyler but he just isn't worth 9.5 million. Id rather overpay hertl of trochek and it still will be cheaper than seguin.
