why would calgary want lack especially for a mid tear prospect

Probably what Oshie will go for whether he will want to come to Calgary, not sure. More than I would want to pay for Stone but pretty reasonable. Don't quite understand why Calgary would want to bring Lack in? Better options available in free agency. All in all not bad.

Roughly the value I think Elliott will get (probably closer to 4M). Stone may not take a pay cut, but probably isn't expecting much of a raise - as he also wants to be in Calgary. Oshie for that deal would be a steal, but I think the Flames might have to over pay a little to get him to come here - less than what Gio/Gaud make though as that is the team cap. Why buyout Bouma if you can bury him on the 4th line/pressbox and don't need the Cap space?
I think there will be better options for a back-up than Lack.
