It would be nice but not a chance in hell it happens.

That Edmonton trade is pretty lopsided as well Turris and Archibald both are in the final season of their contracts and at the TDL they combine for $1,102,500 cap hit. So just over $1M in cap dump and Greiss isn't even close to a 2nd rd pick.

Not a fan of the Leddy trade. Left side of the defense hasn't been a problem, with Fehervary, Orlov, and TVR all playing decently or well. If Washington goes for a defenseman (which I don't see happening due to Lavy's love of Schultz), I think it will be a defensive defenseman at RD.

What you are failing to consider is the ken Holland effect.

Detroit says hell yes on the Wahlstrom trade, But the NYI say hell no. Detroit accepts the Washington and Edmonton trades.
